Abdulmalik Al Sheikh

Founder

Abdulmalik Al Sheikh is a globally-minded entrepreneur with a focus on New York, London, Dubai, and Geneva. He has built a diverse portfolio of successful ventures across sectors such as food (Once Upon a Farm & Ezar Foods), distribution (Ezar Trading), property maintenance (Electro Saudi Services), and real estate. His ability to navigate complex markets has driven significant professional success in a short time.

Beyond business, Abdulmalik is passionate about environmental conservation. As a certified divemaster, he dedicates time to exploring unique marine ecosystems and organizes expeditions to locations like the Galapagos Islands, Costa Rica, the Red Sea, the Maldives, the Bahamas, Mexico, and Ascension Island. Through his non-profit, Danah Marine Research, he supports critical research and conservation initiatives, collaborating with international scientists and educators.

An outdoor enthusiast, he enjoys skiing in renowned destinations like St. Moritz, Zermatt, and Aspen. His adventurous spirit enhances his global perspective, which is further enriched by his dedication to art collecting. Continuing his family’s legacy, he curates a diverse collection that includes works from Old Masters to contemporary street artists like Banksy, Retna, and Jean-Michel Basquiat, which allows him to connect with fellow enthusiasts and contribute to the vibrant artistic community.

“I was born beside the Red Sea — its reefs, its silence, its stories. Through Danah Marine Research, I’ve turned that lifelong connection into something greater: a non-profit committed to science, storytelling, and the protection of our marine heritage. This is my way of giving back — to the ocean that shaped me, and to the future of Saudi Arabia.”
